Why is Grandma Naked Caring for Your Aging Parent by Ellen Pober Rittberg

First off I want to say thank you #NetGalley #EllenPoberRittberg #WhyisGrandmaNakedCaringforYourAgingParent and the publisher

This book was a great read to me it really helps you understand what to expect when your parents decline.  I sympathize with the author because I had to watch my grandfather pass away before my eyes and help care for him in his remaining weeks. So alot of what she says in this books speaks volumes.

I also fine it very helpful now because my grandmother who is now 90 is going through some of the things her mother went through.  So i found this book very helpful and uplifting because it shows there is a light at the end and it doesn't have to be all sad and dark. You need to make the most of the time you have.

I found how she dealt with with her mother actually very amazing and actually quite strong of her. Most people would havenjust stuck them in a home and left it at that or left them in a hospital to decline fast.

I love how she put her life on hold to care for her mother and no matter how stressful or difficult it may have been she stuck through the years till the end. This is what true love and dedication is. Your parents deserve this for all they give and do for us it to me is the least we can do for them.

So for this is a great story pf how to deal with coming to terms with the decline of a loved one and that it wilp be ok. Stay strong and enjoy what time you have with them because it is so limited.

I truly understand this because I myself have lost so much family due to cancer and tragedy that I wish I had that opportunity to have had the time to spend with them like she had.

So I  definitely recommend this book it teaches you how to cope and how to make light of a trying tike. But it also teaches you to be thankful that you still have this time.

Definitely give this book a read and really think about what she is saying and feel the emtion.

Thank you so much again for this book. It really was so great to read.

Camp Crackers by Lisa Stewart

 #CampCrackers #NetGalley #LisaStewart

**** spoilers ahead****

I was given the opportunity to read this book and I am so thankful for that.
This book was absolutely perfect for me. The storyline, the characters and the way it flowed was just perfect.
The story begins with the characters sunny and gil who are brother and sister. Gil had a experience which now people beileve he was obducted by aliens and has the cult following and sunny keeps him in line to not lose site of things. One day sunny gets a call from her mom to go help her uncle clyde out at the old cottage that they used to go to when they were kids. She says it is falling apart and it is in need of some repair and work. So sunny has to convince her brother to come. Sunny brings her friend berta and to their surprise gil has a girlfriend named romil who also comes with them. Gils girlfriend comes off a bit snobish and that she is a bit above eveyone else. This gets on sunnys and bertas nerves. Berta is not ine to keept quite so she makes snide comments from time to time.

So they head up to the broken down cottage and it is in bad shape and they are unaware that clyde mother is there as well till the next day. Clyde had her hide in her room locked up until the next morning. So they see what needs to be done and talk about payment which turns out to be a classic jaguar. Since their uncle neever seems to pay them they needed to make sure he was actually going to follow through. See their uncle is a bit of drunk and comes of as a selfish man. So as things get on a accident happens and sunny knocks cldye over and he break some bones.he goes to the hospital and is there for awhile.

People start showing up claiming to have paid for camoing plots there. Sunny had found a dude camping prior in the grounds and confronted but her uncle said he let him stay a few days in return for setting up this website for people to camp on his land. Well the guy name ambrose went over board on the site and set up things they couldn't fully deliver or did they?
So whild their ubcle in in the hospital they now have theor hands full with campers, ufos fanatics, a house thats falling apart and much more.
I wont give anymore because you really just need to read the book. I wanted to finish faster then I did but I have a two year old and college classes im finishing up plus wife life. So i would have read this faster if i had a few days to myself. It is a quick read if you got the time. I did not want to put it down. I really really would love a hard copy of the book because i really enjoyed it that much and I collect books but sadly it is archived so that part is a bummer. But if you get the chance to read this book definitely do it was such a fun story and I loved how everything turned out. I do wish the ending didnt rush up so fast but it dod tie everything up nicely. So again thank you so much for the opportunity to be able to read this book. I reall really enjoyed it alot and I think anyone else reading this review would to. So buy it, download, whatever you can its so much fun and just a nice soild story.

Kids On Earth: A Children’s Documentary Series Exploring Global Cultures & The Natural World: Costa Rica by Sensei Paul David

Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2021

I just finished reading this book to my son and we both loved this book. I myself actually learned a lot about Costa Rica that I never had known. This book was absolutely wonderful and such a delight to read. It was so well written and the descriptions about the facts weren't overly done that my son got board and lost interest. Mind you my son is two.

The drawings were very cute as well. My son would see the pictures and go wow and wooaahhh. So he loved the colors and how straight to the point they were. Not overly done and meddled down that it was lost.

I was really impressed with rhis book to the point that I actually want to look into the rest of the books this author has to offer and see if there are more books like this in the series. I seriously learned so much that it made me want to learn more on Costa Rica. I also now feel the urge to want to travel there also. So thank you for the opportunity to read this book #StoryOrigin #Sensei Publishing #SenseiPaulDavid #OverDrive
